Dedicated to the memory of John Sacco
John Mark Sacco passed away on 23rd March 2021, after a valiant battle with Small-Cell Lung Cancer. He was at home and surrounded by his family.
John was a truly remarkable man. Modest and caring to a fault, he was a loving and selfless Son, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and friend. He is already missed terribly by us all.
Research into new therapies and treatments are constantly underway. In lieu of flowers, Rene has requested that any donations be made directly to the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, in the hope that a cure may be found in the future.

This world has many heroes, you will know most of them by name.
It is apparent that they gave their best and that they deserve their fame.
But among all the heroes this world has ever had, there’s not one that I admire more than my precious dad.
He is more than just a hero, he never looks for praise.
He is heroic in his quiet strength and in his caring ways.
He may not be famous as those you hear about and see, but he is everything and so much more a hero ought to be.
He keeps his word, he is good as gold, on this you can depend.
He is honest and loyal too, I am so proud to call him my friend.
So when I hear about a hero and the special things that they have done, it reminds me of my daddy for he is and always will be, the greatest one
